It's time for NEER North's biggest event of the year, The Mane Event, November 1st-November 5th!

To keep everyone safe this year we are bringing back our 100% virtual experience that everyone can enjoy from the comfort of their own home.

Starting on November 1, 2021, we will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for our organization.

Things to look forward to at this year's event:

  • Meet some of our NEER Alumni - including some of our smallest adoptees with their new families and learn how #rescuedoneright makes a difference for both new owners and their equine companions.
  • A cooking demonstration featuring some yummy birthday treats you can make for your equine friends right in your own kitchen. 
  • Enjoy a sneak peek behind the scenes at NEER North.
  • Browse our Virtual Silent Auction and bid on some of the amazing items available throughout the week.

The Mane Event auction is NEER North's most important annual fundraiser, which allows us to provide food, shelter, medicine, and vital veterinary and farrier services for the at-risk horses and donkeys in our care. This year we are taking the event virtual online between November 1st through November 5th featuring daily spotlights on social media and our virtual auction! The event is publicized on printed flyers, in local newspapers, at www.neernorth.org and to our 10,900+ Facebook followers (@NEERNorthPlace) and 1,200+ email subscribers.
